There is not much to say about this day. All events unfolded quickly and we soon realized that sometimes days are too short.
Waking up well before sunrise I headed up on a plateau with mud volcanoes to make dawn and sunrise pictures there. The photo session lasted about two hours. Believe you me, there are many thing to photograph! You have endless photo objects to choose from!

Spectacular lunar landscape on the plateau.
Mud volcano exploding...
Mud is carried toward earth surface by the means of gas. Gas deposits lay in the depth of 3000 metres below the surface. The gas is clearly visible on the image.
Bizarre landscape of the mud volcanoes area.
Having arrived in town of Brăila, we had to cross the Danube River on a ferry.
Our expedition on a ferry boat in Brăila.
The time delay was less than one hour, though for us it was necessary to arrive in Tulcea as soon as possible. We had a meeting there with our Romanian friends who were to join us on a trip in the Delta.
In Tulcea we stopped only for less then an hour at Kaufland, just to buy necessary food and water for three days. After that we were scheduled to visit another location with a shop, from were we should take provisions for the continuation of the trip.
From Tulcea we continued to Nufăru, where we could get close to the banks of Sfântu Gheorghe arm, where we wanted to put our boats on water.
For inflating the boats we used a compressor. In total we had 15 inflatable boats.
Inflated boats we carried on the bank of the Danube River, only a few metres away.
There we piled them one over another, until we were ready to embark and leave toward the Litcov Channel.
In Litcov we arrived in the evening, after some difficulties with paddling. Though we got accustomed to this new sport and arrived at desired spot when the evening was just setting on. We made a camp in the jungle, while listening to nightingales.
To be continued...
